Whether you join us in person in Santa Fe or online from anywhere in New Mexico, you receive the same structured, evidence-based program — the same group curriculum, the same clinical standards, the same care team approach. The only difference is how you show up.
A central part of our core mission is to actively support, honor, respect, and encourage all religious perspectives, Native beliefs, and spiritual practices in both group and individual counseling sessions.
Life Healing Center's IOP is built on the Matrix Model, a well-established, evidence-based approach to substance use treatment. It combines cognitive-behavioral strategies, family and social support, relapse prevention skills, and education, all delivered in a structured group format. Group and individual sessions also draw on mindfulness and distress tolerance skills, and incorporate 12-Step concepts for clients who find that framework helpful in their recovery.
Online and in-person groups run in the evening, so treatment fits around work, school, and family responsibilities. Each week includes group therapy sessions built around the Matrix Model curriculum, with individual check-ins as clinically appropriate.
Substance use rarely shows up alone. Life Healing Center is built to address co-occurring anxiety, depression, and other mental health needs together with substance use treatment, not in separate silos.

Life Healing Center, LLC is a newly established statewide online evening IOP and community in-person Santa Fe IOP program, owned and operated by Santa Fe Psychotherapy and Consulting, LLC (located at 1925 Aspen Dr., Suite 101A, Santa Fe, NM). All clinical services are provided under Santa Fe Psychotherapy and Consulting, LLC's active New Mexico license.
We are not affiliated with, and have no ownership connection to, the former residential treatment facility that previously operated under the name Life Healing Center at 25 Vista Point Rd in Santa Fe — that facility is permanently closed.
Our current program is newly established, independently operated, and focused exclusively on outpatient care, featuring statewide telehealth options, local Santa Fe community IOP, Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), and psychiatric support for co-occurring disorders.
Can I do IOP online in New Mexico?
